Perth: An Isolated Paradise City in Australia




Plentiful sunshine, warm sea breezes and a salubrious climate make Perth, the “City of Lights” an idyllic destination to spend a fun-filled holiday. Wander through the streets of Perth and what will strike you is its cleanliness and multi-ethnic character. The relaxed, easy-going lifestyle of its people is quite different from the fast paced lifestyle of other cities in Australia. A day cruise along the beautiful Swan valley with some exotic food and wines on board to compliment would be an experience that is sure to stay forever.

The well-maintained parks of the city are a major tourist draw and prominent amongst them the Kings Park offers stunning views of the city and the Swan River. With beautifully landscaped gardens, recreational areas and over 300 species of native plants and 80 species of birds, the Kings Park is one place which one should visit while touring Perth. Not to be missed is the Barrack Square from where jetties depart offering river cruises towards the south of the city. The place is also famous for its cafes, restaurants and lively bars. Venture further into the city and visit the Perth Town Hall that is one of the fine examples of colonial architecture. Flights to Perth are plentiful and the city with its numerous cultural events and operas has outgrown its image as a boring backwater city to emerge as an internationally renowned tourist destination.




Its picturesque and fabulous beaches namely the Cottesloe, Floreat, Leighton, Port, Scarborough, Swanbourne are perfect for some exciting water sports like swimming, snorkelling and surfing. These beaches however are not for the faint-hearted as they tend to get a bit rough during a high tide. If you are looking for a bit of peace and solitude then the Como, Crawley and Peppermint Grove beaches would be the best places to include in your sojourn to this paradise in Western Australia. Buy a ticket to Perth and spend a day in the city exploring the enchanting wining, dining and shopping options the city has to offer.
